Where will my sessions take place?
In most cases the therapist will travel to your home. We believe that the best results are achieved when you are in a comfortable and familiar environment.
How many sessions will be needed?
From your initial assessment, your therapist will make a clinical judgement about the length and frequency of the sessions that are recommended to achieve the best outcomes.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for the initial assessment?
The initial assessment will start with a brief clinical interview with you or your family. Please have information about the onset of your communication/swallowing difficulties and details of any previous speech and language therapy input.
Will I make improvements?
Our ultimate aim is that you make improvements. Speech Tools Therapy pride ourselves on having achieved some of best outcomes possible for our clients. We utilise a range of evidence-based therapy methods and are fully compliant with national standards for best practice.
How much will it cost me?
Individual sessions are charged at £90 per hour. Travelling costs and mileage are chargeable for home visits.
